Toyo Tire Corp. had an increase of 23.8% in net sales in the second quarter, the company announced recently.
Coming off a COVID-19 year in 2020, the company saw a rise of more than 500% in ordinary income. That led to a profit of 20.7 million yen.
Toyo's tire business unit posted a net sales of 166,488 million yen (an increase of nearly 24%).
Its automotive parts unit had an increase in net sales of a little more than 23%.
