Tire Discounters to Make Big Donation to Wounded Warrior

Sept. 8, 2021

Tire Discounters Inc. has promised to donate up to $25,000 to Wounded Warrior Project through Sept. 13. The company will match donations up to $20,000 and will make a $1 donation up to $5,000 for all "likes" and "shares" on social media content.

The goal is to reach $50,000, including total customer and Tire Discounter donations.

"Anyone who donates any amount of money during this period will receive $100 off one set of four tires on select brands" at the dealership, according to Tire Discounters officials.

“Tire Discounters is proud to continue to support veterans through this donation and by employing many reservists, active veterans, and their spouses,” said Charles Curlee, the dealership's vice president of retail sales. “It’s our turn to do what we can to support the men and women who have sacrificed to keep us safe.”

Last year, Tire Discounters raised $40,000 to support Wounded Warrior Project via a fundraising event held across more than 135 stores.

Tire Discounters' founder, Chip Wood, was MTD's Tire Dealer of the Year Award recipient in 2020.
