Yokohama Off-Highway Tires America Inc.'s Tirunelveli, India, plant has received Platinum Certification through Caterpillar Inc.'s Supplier Quality Excellence Process.
The certification is awarded to suppliers who meet Caterpillar's quality, cost and on-time delivery standards.
This is the second year in a row that the plant has earned Platinum Certification.
The designation "is a reflection" of Yokohama Off-Highway Tires America's "commitment to delivery of the highest-quality products to our customers," says Nitin Mantri, a director with the tire manufacturer.
