Best-One of Indy Kicks Off Wipe Out Hunger Effort

Nov. 9, 2021

Through its Best-One of Indy locations, Indy Tire Centers Inc. is kicking off its Wipe Out Hunger campaign, a month-long event that supports food pantries and community food banks across Indiana.

Throughout the month of November, Best-One of Indy locations in Columbus, Indy, Kokomo, Lafayette and Tipton, as well as the company's Riley Park Tire store in Greenfield, are collecting jars of peanut butter and jelly. All donations will help stock the shelves of local food pantries in each of Best-One of Indy's communities.

As part of the third annual fundraiser, Best-One of Indy will reward those who donate peanut butter and jelly with a free pair of Valvoline wiper blades. (Installation is included.)

Since 2019, Wipe Out Hunger has collected more than 3,000 food items for food pantries across Central Indiana thanks to the donations of Best-One of Indy customers and team members.

“For 35 years, we have sold tires, but our main focus will always remain on serving people,” says Trula Womack, Best-One of Indy’s director of marketing and brand excellence. “As a local company, we take pride in serving our communities, at the counter and through our philanthropic efforts, and we are excited to help local food pantries once again to restock their shelves.”

This year Best-One of Indy is celebrating 35 years in business as a Best-One partner. The company has 15 retail and commercial tire locations throughout Central Indiana.
