Belle Tire Distributors has entered the Chicago market with a store in Naperville, Ill., and another in Villa Park, Ill.

Allen Park, Mich.-based Belle Tire Distributors Inc. has officially entered the greater Chicago market by opening a store in Naperville, Ill., and another outlet in Villa Park, Ill.

Belle Tire will hold a grand opening/ribbon cutting event at the Naperville store on Nov. 20 with a flag ceremony conducted by the local VFW chapter and comments from both Belle Tire President Don Barnes III and Naperville Councilwoman Patty Gustin.

Both the Naperville and Villa Park locations will offer exclusive in-store deals, including up to $180 off a set of new tires during the first 60 days that the stores are open.

“This is an exciting time as we approach our 100th anniversary and enter Illinois," says Barnes, who discussed Belle Tire's growth plans this past summer during an episode of The Modern Tire Dealer Show.

"As a family-owned business, we look forward to supporting the new communities we serve. Belle Tire commits to all our neighbors in Naperville and throughout Chicagoland, as we have for 100 years, that we will get you back on the road fast and affordably, starting with our commitment to the lowest tire price, period."

Belle Tire has plans to open stores in both Joliet and Shorewood, Ill., in the coming weeks, followed by stores in St. Charles, Mokena, Orland Park, Aurora and West Chicago in 2022.

The dealership - which recently formed a long-term partnership with the Chicago Blackhawks - plans to open 60 Illinois stores over the next three years. The expansion is expected to create 1,000 jobs "and make an economic impact of $325 million in the region," according to Belle Tire officials.

The company - which also has locations in its native Michigan, as well as Ohio and Indiana - is hosting weekly hiring events in the Chicago area and offering signing bonuses.

“We are thrilled to begin carrying out our Chicagoland expansion plan, but most importantly are ready to make an impact within communities by providing stable job opportunities and ultimately create an outstanding economic impact,” adds Barnes. “This is the start of an incredible new chapter for the whole Belle Tire team as we begin our journey into Illinois.”

Belle Tire is one of the 10 largest independent tire dealerships in the United States, according to the 2021 MTD 100.
