Sun Auto Tire & Service Inc. continues its expansion with the acquisition of T.O. Haas Tire Co. Inc., a longtime independent tire dealership based in Lincoln, Neb.
Established in 1947, T.O. Haas Tire - which is the 46th largest independent tire dealership in the United States, according to the 2021 MTD 100 - has 25 locations throughout Nebraska, Kansas and Iowa. All are retail outlets.
Earlier today, Sun Auto Tire also announced its acquisition of Bruce's Tire & Auto Service, an eight-location independent based in northern California.
Terms of both deals have not been disclosed.

“We’re in an industry that is very fragmented - even with all the M&A activity going on - with lots of opportunity," Chris Garman, Sun Auto Tire's vice president of business development, told MTD Editor Mike Manges.
To date in 2021, Sun Auto Tire has acquired 11 "automotive service brands" and has entered 12 new states, adding 180 total locations to its total footprint.
