Mountain Biker Will 'Grip the Moment' for Falken Tire

Oct. 19, 2016

Falken Tire Corp. has added another top athlete to its "Grip the Moment" media campaign: Enduro mountain biker Curtis Keene.

"It’s amazing linking up with a company who has the same vision and passion for the outdoors as I do," says Keene. "I can't wait for the adventures that lie ahead!"

Falken says the USA Cycling pro "embodies the spirit of the campaign through his hard work and drive to reach his full potential."

Keene, after 10 years as a top competitor in the fast-paced world of downhill mountain biking, decided in 2012 to give the growing sport of Enduro mountain biking a try. A natural to the sport, he took home the overall championship title in the North American Enduro Series. A top American in the predominantly European sport, Keene earned the nickname "American Dream."

He joins professional surfer Malia Manuel and professional rock climbers Sasha DiGiulian and Sierra Blair-Coyle on the campaign trail. The campaign collaborates with adventure athletes to encourage everyone "to embrace the journey and savor each experience," says Falken.
