Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. has named Michael Pulte to the newly created position of manager, extreme peformance, for its North American Tire division.
An 18-year Goodyear veteran, Pulte will be responsible for managing and marketing Goodyear, Kelly and Dunlop "extreme performance" passenger and light truck business, which includes the tuner and severe off-road segments, say Goodyear officials.
He will report to Mike Kitz, vice president of marketing for Goodyear's North American unit.
Pulte most recently worked as original equipment account manager in Goodyear's Southfield, Mich., office.
