Continental AG has suspended production at its plant in Kaluga, Russia, "as a result of the war against Ukraine," according to Continental officials.
"Also we have suspended imports and exports of our products to and from Russia, company-wide."
A Continental spokesman says the company is "monitoring the current situation very closely" and is constantly reviewing "all options available to us. This applies in particular to our supply chains for raw materials, the transport of supplies and goods and the effects of the sanctions imposed as a result of the armed conflicts."
Earlier this month, Michelin Group suspended some production in Europe due to the Russia-Ukraine war.
