Hankook to Sponsor Food Bank Trailer

Hankook Tire North America  will sponsor a 53-foot trailer that will travel across Tennessee, distributing food to those in need.

The trailer is part of a fleet operated by Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee, which distributes more than 40 million meals annually.

Hankook also will continue to sponsor three mobile food pantries in the Nashville and Clarksville, Tenn., areas.

The company's North American office is based in Nashville and Hankook operates a consumer tire manufacturing plant in Clarksville.

“Food insecurity is a great issue in our community and we are proud to be able to give back through mobility to the people who need additional support,” says Curtis Brison, president of Hankook Tire America Corp.

“Second Harvest is making a monumental impact to help those struggling in more rural areas, and it is our honor to help the organization achieve its mission to drive out hunger in Middle Tennessee.”
