Bridgestone, USW Ratify Four-Year Labor Contract

Bridgestone Americas Inc. and the United Steelworkers have ratified a new, four-year labor contract covering 3,000 workers at six plants.

The plants are located in Akron, Ohio, Des Moines, Iowa; Bloomington, Ill.; LaVergne, Tenn.; Warren Country, Tenn.; and Russellville, Ark.

"These contracts reinforce our continued commitment to U.S. teammates as an essential pillar of Bridgestone's global competitiveness," say Bridgestone officials.
