Bridgestone Americas Inc. will raise its consumer, commercial truck and OTR tire prices on Oct. 1.
Bridgestone, Firestone and Fuzion brand passenger and light truck tire prices will increase up to 9%.
The increase applies to tires sold in the United States and Canada.
Bridgestone and Firestone brand truck and bus tires will see a price hike of up to 9% in the U.S. and up to 15% in Canada.
Bridgestone and Firestone OTR tires will increase by up to 11% in both the U.S. and Canada.
"Price adjustments will be made at the pattern and article levels," according to Bridgestone officials, who say the increases "are a necessary step" as the company "continues to navigate current market dynamics."
