Bartec USA LLC is showcasing its RiteSensor Blue – the latest development in Bartec’s RiteSensor line - at this week's Specialty Equipment Market Association Show.
“This sensor is designed to meet the evolving requirements of electric vehicles(EVs) and make it more flexible for technicians,” says Scot Holloway, CEO of Bartec.
The previous RiteSensor product works with a radio frequency, but the new sensor is using Bluetooth frequency, which are more commonly used in EVs.
“EV’s are in full swing in the market and leading brands like Tesla use Bluetooth frequencies in their vehicles, so we are just keeping up with the changes,” says Holloway.
RiteSensor Blue comes pre-programmed with currently available make, model and year data for Tesla Model 3 and Tesla Model Y vehicles.
This product is part of Bartec’s “Owning the Wheel Well” initiative.
