Fifty-three percent of respondents to the latest Hankook Gauge Index Survey say they plan to travel by car between now and the end of 2022.
Through the survey, Hankook also discovered that 64% of millennials will travel for Christmas versus 26% of boomers.
Slightly more than 45% of all Hankook Gauge Index Survey respondents said they plan to check their tires before hitting the road.
"The holiday travel season always brings busier roads and that will be especially true this year as Americans seek to ease the impact of higher travel costs by driving," says JJ Park, vice president of marketing, Hankook Tire America Corp.
