Toyo's Hawk Is Taking Over RMA Board

The Rubber Manufacturers Association (RMA) has elected Jim Hawk as its new chairman of the board of directors. Hawk is chairman of Toyo Tire Holdings of Americas Inc. and Toyo Tire North America Manufacturing Inc.

Hawk also serves as president of Tire Tire North America OE Sales LLC. At the RMA he succeeds Gary Garfield, CEO and president of Bridgestone Americas Inc., who is retiring from the tire company at the of the year. Garfield was named RMA chairman in 2015.

“We are excited that Jim Hawk is willing to take the leadership reins as chairman of RMA’s board of directors,” says Anne Forristall Luke, CEO and president of the RMA.  “Jim’s industry experience, energy, vision, and his active tenure on the board will be a great asset to RMA and our industry.”

Hawk is a 40 year veteran of the tire industry.
