United Tire & Service Promotes Its Brand on the Track

Aug. 16, 2016

Steve Harvilla, one of the founding members of United Tire & Service LLC, placed 13th in Super Cup Stock Car Series this past weekend at Lonesome Pine Raceway in Coeburn, Va.

United Tire & Service is a group of independent tire dealers who operate 18 shops in southeastern Pennsylvania. The group provides a brand identity, increased buying power, marketing, and other business-support services to its dealers.

As a member of the Bobby Gerhart Racing Team for the past 26 years, Harvilla has assisted with the construction of the race cars and works on the pit crew. This past weekend, he has fulfilled his lifelong dream of becoming a racecar driver by competing in the Super Cup Stock Car Series as a competitive driver. Harvilla completed extensive track training and recently received his ARCA license in January at the Daytona International Speedway.

Splitting his time between United Tire locations at Lower Merion and Rosemont, Harvilla brings years of experience from under the car to both the track and the community. The #4 car, identified with the United Tire logo, shows the team’s dedication to the United Tire brand and the wide range of services United Tire locations offer their clients.

“Not only has United Tire continued to grow in size over the past three years, our team has also been able to follow our dreams and expand into different avenues of the auto industry,” says Harvilla. “The United Tire shield ensures safety, whether it is for our team or for your family. I am happy to represent this shield on the racetrack.”

Harvilla will compete again on August 27 in back-to-back features at Jennerstown Speedway in Western Pennsylvania with the Bobby Gerhart Racing Team.
