Nexen Roadian AT Pro RA8 Wins Top Score in Jeep Test

Aug. 3, 2016

Nexen Tire America Inc. took its Roadian AT Pro RA8 to an off-road test conducted by the Jeep 4x4 School in Big Bear Lake, Calif.

The tire manufacturer says its all-terrain tire beat two category-leading competitive tires in most applications, and recieved an overall score that outperformed both other tires. Criteria used for the test included traction, wheel spin, tread cuts, sidewall cuts, and noise.

“We are extremely pleased with the results and performance of the Roadian AT Pro,” says Jay Lee, director of product development for Nexen. “This is a great example to show how Nexen has evolved and become a great option for consumers interested in all-terrain and other light truck /SUV patterns.”

In late June Nexen released 11 new sizes of the Roadian AT Pro RA8, of which eight are LT sizes. The sizes range from 17 to 20-inch wheels and focus on larger fitments. Additionally Nexen has redesigned the sidewall for its larger sizes to boast a more aggressive look favored by the off-road consumer.
