Nitto Continues to Add Enthusiasts to Annual Event

Aug. 2, 2016

Angel Stadium of Anaheim, home of the Los Angeles Angels, is about to get the Nitto treatment once again. Nitto Tire U.S.A. Inc.'s fourth annual Auto Enthusiast Day is returning to Southern California on Sunday, Aug. 14, 2016.

The tire company says it will play host to a "massive" free car show, drift demonstrations, Ultra4 off-road buggy demonstrations, and Driving Line virtual reality experiences (where fans will be able to "ride" shotgun with two-time King of the Hammers champion Shannon Campbell in his Ultra4 buggy as well as with Team Nitto drift drivers). The event will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. There also will be the following:

* raffle giveaways with prizes ranging from apparel to a ride along with a Team Nitto driver.

* a Vendor Midway that will showcase "the coolest" new products in the automotive industry, according to Nitto.

* appearances by Team Nitto drivers Vaughn Gittin Jr., Alex Heilbrunn, Matt Powers, Loren Healy and Jason Blanton.

* food trucks.

Since the event began in 2013, Nitto Tire's Auto Enthusiast Day has grown exponentially, bringing in more cars, more vendors and more spectators. More than 12,500 people are expected to be in attendance this year

"Auto Enthusiast Day is something that we look forward to every year," says Nitto's Harry Kong, spokesman for brand publishing events and motorsports. "It's unlike any other event on the calendar and it's as much fun for us to attend as it is to put on.

Nitto is a company that is 'Fueled by Enthusiasts,' and we feel that it’s extremely important for us to give back to the community that has supported us since the beginning."

Tickets for Auto Enthusiast Day are available online at www.autoenthusiastday.com.
