Tri-Ace Tire Is Building a Plant in Taiwan

Tri-Ace Tire Corp. is building a manufacturing plant in Taiwan to accommodate increased and anticipated demand for its tires in the United States.

The company says the environmentally friendly green plant will be operational by October 2016. The Chinese-based company currently has one plant in China. Its U.S. division, Tri-Ace Tire USA, is headquartered in Tulsa, Okla. The division’s general manager, Homey Zhang, says Tri-Ace currently holds over 50 patents from tire design, rubber compounding to manufacturing.

Tri-Ace USA also is adding sales associates in the U.S. The newest members of the Tri-Ace team include Chip Beitel, south central U.S. sales manager; and Thomas Varughese, Houston warehouse manager. The company is recruiting sales professionals recruiting for other regions of the U.S.

In addition, the company has signed Australian drift racing professional Josh Robinson to be a spokesperson for the company’s drift race program in the U.S. He will tour and perform drift race exhibitions at major racing venues around the country as part of the three-year agreement.

Tri-Ace announced discussed its new plant and marketing initiatives at a press conference at Creative Wholesale Custom Wheels and Performance Tires/1st Chance Tire and Automotive in LaVergne, Tenn. Owners Chance Webb and Robbie Jenkins hosted the press event. The dealership is one of Tri Ace Tire's newest dealers and distributors. 

Tri-Ace, Mark Ma Signature Series and BlackBear brands are part of the Mark Ma group of tires from Tri-Ace. In addition to drifting and off-road tires for competition, the company manufactures UHP, SUV/LT, winter and commercial tires.
