Online Retailer Simple Tire Adds 360-Degree Tire Images to Website

May 10, 2016

Simple Tire LLC, an online retailer of tires for recreation, passenger, and commercial vehicles, has added 360-degree tire images to its website.

The company says the new feature allows consumers to easily scroll through various views of the tire they are searching in order to make a more informed decision before they purchase.

“We find that customers like to see multiple images of the tire they are purchasing,” says Josh Chalofsky, founder and COO. “Our new 360-degree feature allows them to ‘connect’ with the tire and decide if it’s really the best option for their vehicle and driving habits.”

The new 360-degree images give consumers a closer look at the tire features: tread area, grooves, rib, sidewall, and more. The company says it has the largest online selection of tire brands, styles, and sizes, and aims to add 360-degree views of every tire available on the site.

With millions of website views and tire sales each year, the company says the website’s latest feature offers a more efficient and convenient way of researching tires. The addition of 360-degree tire images is the first of many new website upgrades planned for the website.

“With online users requesting more digit content, our goal is to overhaul our website to provide everything from videos and 360-degree pictures to updated, relevant content meant to help consumers get a better understanding of what they are purchasing,” says Chalofsky.

Preferred Installer Network

The company ships tires ordered from the website to any address in the continental U.S. Consumers are offered the option to ship to a “preferred” installer. The company says the installers are vetted to ensure they adhere to its standards of business and customer service. Shipping charges are discounted if a consumer chooses a preferred installer.

The company says its preferred installers are the key to its shopping experience because they are its “front line” that works directly with its customers. There is no charge to be in the company's installer network. For more information on Simple Tire’s installer network, visit http://simpletire.com/become-a-tire-installer.

A Resource for Distributors and Retailers

Simple Tire sources tires from manufacturers, independent wholesalers and distributors, and retailers across the country. In addition to supplying tires to consumers nationwide, the company says it is “a great resource for distributors and retailers when they are looking for hard-to-find, back-ordered, or discontinued items.”

The company was established in 2010 and is based in Philadelphia, Pa. To view the new 360-degree image feature, visit www.simpletire.com.
