Omni United (S) Pte. Ltd. has added an all-terrain tire to its Radar Renegade line. The new Radar Renegade A/T-5 will be offered in 57 sizes introduced in four phases. Sixteen sizes are available now.

The company says this latest generation tire is the result of several years of research and development with extensive product design and testing. The all-terrain tire will perform well in all types of environments including dirt, mud and snow, while maintaining a quiet ride.
The Radar Renegade A/T-5 features the company’s stone ejector technology, which helps prevents stones from clogging in the grooves and drilling into the tire. The tires have a raised serration between the tread blocks that actively deforms when the tire is rotating, opening, closing and then releasing as the tire goes through the contact patch, according to Omni United. This action helps to eject stones out of the tread pattern. Omni United engineers modeled the action of stone trapping and drilling, and analyzed the reaction of traditional stone ejectors.
Omni says the tire’s three-body ply construction is another very compelling technology, particularly for a tire positioned to compete in the value segment. The third layer of protection helps to strengthen and stiffen the tire to reduce the risk of punctures in the sidewall and tread areas.
An additional design feature is the wide center tread block, designed to give a sophisticated but aggressive look and provide enhanced stability, handling and even tread wear in nearly all types of terrain.
The Radar Renegade A/T-5 tire will have a total of 57 sizes introduced in four phases. Sixteen sizes are available now, with 11 sizes planned for market introduction in June 2016 and 30 sizes planned for late 2016/early 2017 availability.
The A/T tire will have a total of 21 ROWL sizes and is backed by a 40,000 mile tread wear warranty that carries a UTQG of 500 A A.
