Tate Boys Tire & Service Names a New CEO

Tate Boys Tire & Service LLC has named Martin (Marty) Schoenthaler as a new partner and CEO, effective May 1.

Schoenthaler was vice president and chief information officer at Archer Daniels Midland Co., an agricultural processing firm. At Tate Boys he'll be charged with helping lead the tire dealership's continued growth as they look to expand their presence throughout the region.

"I am excited about the opportunity to join Tate Boys,” Schoenthaler says. “Craig and Chuck have developed a great company focused on delivering an exceptional customer experience. I look forward to helping the team grow and expand the business.”

“We’re excited to have Marty with us,” says Chuck Tate, chief operating officer for Tate Boys. “His experience and insight will be a great contribution to our team.”

"Marty brings a depth of business experience that will be a perfect complement to the industry expertise of our leadership team," says Craig Tate, president of Tate Boys. "The addition of his business acumen enhances our ability to enrich the customer experience."

At Archer Daniels Midland Schoenthaler oversaw information technology, as well as its business transformation program.  In 2014 Schoenthaler was named Oracle Corporation's CIO of the Year for North America.  Prior to ADM, he worked for ConocoPhillips Co. as well as the IBM Corp.

Schoenthaler has an MBA from the University of Arkansas and undergraduate degrees in business administration and computer programming from Missouri Southern State University.
