Sullivan Tire Adds Store in Somerville

Sullivan Tire Co. is opening a 7,500-square-foot store in Somerville, Mass., near Porter Square, Union Square and Harvard University. It is the company’s 82nd location.

The new Sullivan Tire and Auto Service outlet is located at 263 Beacon Street. Its services include oil changes, brakes, batteries, engine diagnostics, shocks and struts, fluid flushes, and tune-ups.

To commemorate the opening, Sullivan Tire will host an “Opening Day Grand Opening Celebration” at the new store on Saturday, May 21, 2016.  The celebration will feature a baseball-themed afternoon from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. with food, music, celebrity appearances and Red Sox ticket giveaways.

"We are thrilled to open our newest Sullivan Tire location in Somerville and want to invite our friends and neighbors in the surrounding community to join us on Saturday, May 21, for a festive grand opening celebration,” says Paul Sullivan, vice president of Sullivan Tire.

The highlight of the day will be an appearance by WEEI’s Mike Adams, host of 93.7FM Sports Radio, Somerville’s own Big League Brian and Wally the Green Monster, the official mascot of the Boston Red Sox.  At 12:30 p.m., Mike Adams will give away two of pairs of tickets to the Red Sox game that afternoon against the Cleveland Indians at Fenway Park.
