The Mr. OTR Radial Retread Tire Contest now features a bigger prize — $5,000. The contest will be held at the North American Tire & Retread Expo, April 19-21, 2016, in New Orleans.
The contest is open to all off-the-road radial retread tires up to 25 inches. Both precured and mold cured retreaded tires produced for commercial OTR use and sale are eligible.
The deadline to enter is April 18.
A panel of industry judges will choose the winner on April 20, 2016, on the expo show floor. Here's the panel of judges:
- Shawn Rasey, director of global business development for earthmover tires for Continental Tire the Americas' commercial specialty tire division;
- Phil Nigh, global training manager, Elgi Rubber Co.
- Manny Cicero, CEO of Triangle Tire USA.
