Marangoni Tread North America Inc. has introduced its first wide-base precured splice-less retread for concrete mixers that run 425/65R22.5 and 445/65R22.5 tires.
The Ringtread Mix400 is suited for all concrete mixer applications where traction, durability, and reliability are required. It features wide open shoulders in order to keep them clean from stones, mud, and water. It is non directional, no retread markings and Marangoni logo on the tread.
The Ringtread Mix400 is produced with the newest Marangoni Concrete Mixer compound that the company says delivers a superior resistance to chip, cut, tear, penetration, and abrasion.
“Best retreads we have ever used and for sure, better than the spliced ones we were using," says Brad Buchanan, plant manager for BP&G Materials. "We are also getting better wear out of the Ringtread Mix400 which lowers our overall tire cost.”
