Tire Consultants Group Ups the Ante by Hiring Dale Guerrieri

Tire Consultants Group LLC has named tire industry veteran J.D. "Dale" Guerrieri to oversee its Sales, Marketing and Management Unit. Guerrieri’s appointment was effective March 14, 2016.

In his long and distinguished career, which has encompassed virtually all areas of tire sales management and marketing, Guerrieri has worked with both domestic and international tire manufacturers in numerous sales and marketing roles. He brings "a knowledge-based perspective and a deep understanding of current and forward-thinking sales and marketing trends," according to the company.

“Mr. Guerrieri’s vast experience in sales, sales management and marketing coupled with his strengths in forging important business relationships will place Tire Consultants Group in a better position immediately, and down the road,” says Skip Viola, company president. “He knows the tire industry inside-out, is familiar with the major players, and is well-respected by industry professionals at all levels."

Guerrieri started his tire industry career with Michelin Tire Corp., moving on to sales, sales management and marketing positions with Dunlop Tire Corp., Yokohama Tire Corp., Falken Tire Corp., Tireco Inc. and Sentaida International Inc.

Before assuming his role at TCG, he served as vice president of marketing at Horizon Tire Corp.

His credentials are extensive.

Sales management: Guerrieri’s experience includes staffing and overseeing field sales personnel, setting realistic sales forecasts and objectives, challenging personnel with increasing responsibility, and training and guiding sales personnel to achieve maximum efficiencies. He has also implemented programs to increase market share, and for achieving sales goals.

Sales: He has a strong track record in client solicitation and business calls throughout the United States. He has proven proficient at gross and net-profit maintenance, point-of-sale image, client sales staff training, group orientation meetings, trade show participation, inventory control advisement, sales plan reports, credit functions, customer service, and order placement support. He has also excelled in territory, district, division, regional and national sales assignments.

Marketing: Guerrieri has conducted market and competitive analysis and has performed research studies and data entry. In advertising and communications, he has worked with various media on market and corporate advertising, developing and procuring customer point-of-sale material, and employing market and industry data to enhance sales efforts. He has also managed corporate marketing and advertising budgets, coordinated SEMA trade show events, developed press releases, and expedited numerous public relations efforts.

A Vietnam War veteran, Guerrieri was a leadership instructor with Secret Security clearance in the U.S. Army.
