Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. is taking its 'total solution' of products and services for fleets to the Mid-America Trucking Show (MATS) in Louisville, Ky.
Those products, national network, and services and fleet management tools are designed to help fleets lower their operating costs, Goodyear says. This includes:
Products: including the new Goodyear Endurance RSA, which the tire maker says is its best all-around tire for regional and urban delivery applications; and the Goodyear Fuel Max RSA, which helps provide excellent fuel economy for regional/long haul driving and enhanced toughness for driving in urban environments.
Network: the Goodyear Commercial Tire & Service Network offers more than 2,300 tire and service locations from coast to coast, and encompasses both Goodyear Commercial Tire & Service Centers and authorized Goodyear commercial tire dealers.
Services: including the 24/7 Goodyear-Fleet HQ Emergency Roadside Service program, which has put more than 1.1 million trucks back on the road since 2008.
Fleet management tools, including Goodyear’s Tire Trac online tire management tool, which helps fleets monitor tire installations and performance, and the Goodyear Road Service App, which connects drivers to Goodyear-Fleet HQ Emergency Roadside Service with the push of a button. “We’ll demonstrate both tools during MATS,” says Gary Medalis, marketing director of Goodyear.
“We encourage MATS attendees to discover how Goodyear can help them lower their operating costs by using the special Goodyear Total Solution interactive kiosk set up inside our booth."
Attendees who visit Goodyear’s MATS booth and complete a free Goodyear Total Solution Finder/kiosk profile will be eligible to enter a drawing to win a ride on the Goodyear blimp. (Drawings will be held at a later date.)
Goodyear also will promote its Smart Fleet program during MATS. “The Goodyear Smart Fleet program is our national account program for owner-operators and small to mid-size fleets,” says Medalis.
MATS attendees will be able to enroll in the Goodyear Smart Fleet program at a special booth inside the main lobby of the Kentucky Expo Center.
