Toyo Continues Support of Tough Mudder

Toyo Tire U.S.A. Corp is extending its sponsorship of Tough Mudder Inc. athletic contests, and Toyo tires and branding will be visible on Tough Mudder courses across America.

Tough Mudder is a team-oriented 10-12 mile obstacle course challenge designed to test physical strength, stamina and mental grit. The events are untimed, and teamwork and camaraderie are considered above all else. Participants are encouraged to work together to overcome obstacles and push themselves to physical and mental boundaries. Each event allows participants to experience exhilarating, yet safe, unique obstacles.

Tough Mudder participants face Toyo Tires Skidmarked; a 10-foot wall angled toward participants. Teammates must work together to get on top of the wall, and then navigate down the face of it past a row of Toyo tires.

“Tough Mudder delivers a unique branding opportunity and the chance to reach people who share our All or Nothing attitude,” says Amy Coleman, senior director of marketing for Toyo. “Not only do they reach people on the ground at events, but they are active across a variety of mediums and are constantly creating engaging content that captures the attention of their fans.”

“Toyo Tires, known for their toughness and durability, are a perfect fit for the Tough Mudder, Inc. brands,” says Jesse Bull, senior vice president of media and content for Tough Mudder. “We look forward to partnering with Toyo Tires once again in 2016 and having Team Toyo contribute to the on-site experience for hundreds of thousands of new and returning Mudders.”
