NCTDA Expo and Trade Show Is March 4-5

The North Carolina Tire Dealers Association (NCTDA) is hosting its 2016 Expo and Trade Show March 4-5, 2016, in Raleigh, N.C.

Registration and hotel reservations are due Feb. 25, 2016. Details about making a reservation and the NCTDA’s room discount is available here. The first day of the event is highlighted by an awards reception and awards banquet featuring a keynote address by Pete Selleck, chairman and president of Michelin North America Inc.

All of the events on March 5 are free. The day begins at 9 a.m. with a series of educational sessions featuring Jack Gamauf, the retired president of consumer tires for Bridgestone Americas Inc.; Doug Woolverton of Hunter Engineering Co. will talk about the shop of the future; and Louis Efron, the former head of global employee engagement for Tesla Motors, will address organizational purpose.

A trade show follows the morning sessions, and will begin around noon. Lunch at the trade show is included. Those attending the free events must still register for the show here.

Attendees can enter to win a trip for two to the 2016 Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Show, including roundtrip airfare and three nights in a hotel in Las Vegas. Other prizes include a Coats tire changer and $250 Visa gift cards. Attendees and prize winners must be employed by a tire and automotive service organization to qualify.
