Bosch Expands 4 Product Lines in February

Robert Bosch LLC has added 34 part numbers to its braking, wideband air/fuel oxygen sensors, diesel common rail injectors and injection pumps, and rotating machines product lines.

Brake pads

Three brake pad SKUs were added to extend coverage for many late-model vehicles. Of these, two new part numbers have been added to the premium QuietCast line extending coverage for domestic and European vehicles. Hardware kits are included for select applications. One new part number has also been added to the Bosch Blue line for additional European vehicle coverage.

Bosch QuietCast Brake pads are available for 2008–2013 BMW 128i; 2013–2015 Ford F250 Super Duty, Ford F350 Super Duty and Ford F450 Super Duty. These two new part numbers cover 556,000 units in operation.

The single Bosch Blue part number fits various Jaguar models including 2005-2008 Jaguar S-type, 2009–2015 Jaguar XF, 2006–2009 Jaguar XJ8 and more, covering 44,000 units in operation.

Wideband air/fuel oxygen sensors

Bosch has added 17 direct-fit part numbers to its line of premium wideband air/fuel ratio oxygen sensors. Designed to meet or exceed OE specifications, these wideband oxygen sensors expand coverage for domestic, Asian and European vehicles by 5.1 million vehicles in operation. The majority of these late-model applications can be found in the latest Bosch ACES/PIES catalog output.

Applications include 2011–2014 Ford Explorer; 2013–2014 Lincoln MKS; 2010–2013 Kia Forte; 2009–2013 Mazda 6; 2011–2015 Toyota Sienna; 2013–2014 Audi A8 Quattro and many more.

Diesel common rail injector and injection pump

Bosch has released three common rail injector SKUs and two new common rail injection pump SKUs to the aftermarket. Guaranteed to provide OE-level performance and meet all emission requirements, these SKUs include both new and remanufactured products, according to the company.

The three common rail injector part numbers are tested and calibrated using OE specifications and cover an additional 132,000 vehicles in operation. The new common rail injector part numbers cover applications such as 2015–2016 Ford F250 and F350 Super Duty V8 cyl. 6.7L; and 2014 Audi A6 V6 cyl. 3.0L vehicles.

 The two common rail injection pumps cover an additional 129,000 vehicles in operation. These new part numbers cover 2015-2016 Ford F250 F and 350 Super Duty V8 cyl. 6.7L applications.

Rotating machines

Bosch released nine new and remanufactured alternators and starters covering 1.3 million vehicles in operation in the U.S. These new part number additions cover domestic, Asian and European vehicles including Audi, Cadillac, Chevrolet, GMC, Mercedes-Benz, Porsche, Toyota, Volkswagen and Volvo. Some of these vehicles are equipped with start/stop technology.

The releases include remanufactured alternators for several Volkswagen models including the 2014–2015 Volkswagen Beetle L4 cyl. 1.8L; 2014–2015 Volkswagen Jetta L4 cyl. 1.8L; 2014–2015 Volkswagen Passat L4 cyl. 1.8L. New alternators are available for 2007–2009 Porsche 911 H6 cyl. 3.8L auto trans; 2007–2008 Porsche Boxter H6 cyl. 3.4L auto trans.

Remanufactured starters are now available for 2014–2015 Audi A6 Quattro V6 cyl. 3.0L diesel equipped with start/stop technology, 2014 Audi A8 Quattro V6 cyl.3.0L diesel with start stop technology, and more. A new starter is also available for 2011–2015 Mercedes-Benz V8 cyl. 6.3 L.
