Forest Park, Ga.-based Action Tire Co.'s new distribution center in Newnan, Ga., will open June 1.
The 8,000-square-foot warehouse will employ eight people, according to Rick Stewart, Action Tire president.
Newnan, like Forest Park, is a suburb of Atlanta.
Action Tire also opened a new warehouse in Birmingham, Ala., last January.
Stewart says the new facilities are necessary due to "increased demand."
Action Tire has six commercial truck tire centers, plus one retail store. It carries Toyo, Cooper, Bridgestone and Firestone brand products.
