The 17 outlets that President Tire Canada picked up from Sears Canada Inc. last spring "are coming along very well," President Tire General Manager Denis Monette has told moderntiredealer.com
"It has been very hectic for us, making sure they are operating to our standards. But we are very pleased."
Thirteen of the stores are located in President Tire´s native Quebec (the company is headquartered in the Montreal suburb of Laval); the rest are in the Maritimes.
Sears Canada announced it was licensing 36 out of its 49 tire and auto centers to President Tire, Kal Tire and Active Green & Ross nine months ago.
President Tire has 23 corporate-owned stores and more than 220 franchise outlets throughout Canada, says Monette.
