Toyo Tire & Rubber Co. Ltd.´s Toyo Tire Europe GmbH sales subsidiary will open on Jan. 1.
Toyo Tire Europe will be located in Neuss, Germany, and is a joint venture with Mitsubishi Corp. It will cover the entire European market.
"The tire market in Europe has been growing in tandem with the development of the European Union," say Toyo officials.
"Against this backdrop, with the new sales subsidiary, Toyo aims to implement unified sales and marketing strategies, and expand sales across the continent."
All business operations of Toyo´s previous sales subsidiary in Germany, the Dusseldorf-based Toyo Reifen GmbH, will be taken over by the new operation.
