TRIB leader plans to lead workshop

Dec. 13, 2004

Harvey Brodsky, managing director of the Tire Retread Information Bureau (TRIB), will conduct a workshop on retreading at the annual NATSO convention. NATSO is the national trade association for travel plaza and truckstop owners and operators.

The 2005 NATSO Show will be held Feb. 9-11 at the Gaylord Opryland Hotel in Nashville, Tenn.

The focus of the TRIB workshop, entitled "Understanding Retreading," will be on creating a profitable tire retread program. Brodsky will discuss how travel plazas and truckstops can establish quality retread tire programs and offer effective tire repair and maintenance programs.

Brodsky also will demonstrate how these programs, when used in conjunction with each other, can provide a competitive advantage, generate new and additional business and become a profit center.

"This is a wonderful opportunity for TRIB and our members who produce high quality caps and casings," says Brodsky. "NATSO represents over 900 travel plazas and truckstops nationwide."

The TRIB workshop is being held as part of NATSO University, the association’s agenda of technology, business and employee management courses and seminars.
