The Bridgestone Dueler A/T RH-S light truck tire will be original equipment on the 2006 Hummer H3. So will the Goodyear Wrangler RT/S.
Bridgestone Firestone North American Tire LLC will supply the Dueler A/T in size LT285/75R16, Load Range C to General Motors Corp. for its new Hummer, which will be available in the spring of 2005.
It is "the result of more than two years of development collaboration between General Motors and Bridgestone Firestone," says Michael Martini, president of original equipment consumer tires for Bridgestone Firestone.
Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. will supply its all-terrain Wrangler RT/S in size P265/75R16 to the H3, which is 16.9 inches shorter in length, six inches shorter in height and 6.5 inches narrower than the H2.
