Hankook will unveil new truck tires

Sept. 29, 2004

Hankook Tire America Corp. will roll out three new medium truck tires in January 2005.

The AM06 will come with the same compound as Hankook´s AM01 truck tire but will have extra skid depth, according to Hankook officials.

The DM04 will replace Hankook´s T25 and will sport a new casing design.

The AM02C is engineered for extra puncture resistance and will replace the Hankook Z40, which is "nearing the end of its life cycle," says Hankook Senior Engineer Pat Keating.

Hankook displayed the tires yesterday at its truck tire dealer seminar in Akron, Ohio.
