Salem, Ore.-based Superior Tire Service (STS) has finished the second phase of its expansion with the completion of a new, 42,000-square-foot building that will house a sales and service facility, a passenger tire warehouse and the company´s administrative office.
The site also includes a Michelin Retread Technologies Inc. retread plant.
The dealership´s new service center will be able to service Michelin´s PAX tire and wheel system, according to STS officials. It also will offer shocks, struts, computerized wheel alignments and custom wheels.
STS has hired two additional people to help staff the location and "the search for more certified mechanics and skilled tire technicians is underway."
The 41-year-old company has a total of five locations that service customers in Oregon and southwest Washington.
