GCR Tire Centers´ retreading facility in Clearwater, Fla., has received ISO 9001:2000 certification, the first GCR plant to receive the designation.
Six other GCR plants are in the process of obtaining certification.
BFRC Commercial Tire Group, a division of Bridgestone Americas Holding Inc.-owned BFS Retail & Commercial Operations LLC, operates a total of 29 GCR retread plants throughout North America.
