Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co.´s Valencia, Venezuela, plant is up for quality, environmental and health and safety certification.
Valencia is Goodyear´s first Latin American factory to incorporate all three programs into one integrated system.
The plant will receive certifications ISO/TS 16949 (quality), ISO 14001 (environmental), and OHSAS 18001 (health and safety), according to Goodyear officials.
They hope to use the multiple certification as a "template" for other Goodyear plants in Latin America.
