Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. has promoted Michael Parnell to vice president, original equipment sales, for its North American Tire unit.
Parnell most recently served as Goodyear's North American Tire director of business development and strategic initiatives, commercial tire systems.
Before that, he was North American marketing manager for automotive aftermarket business in Goodyear's Engineered Products division.
In his new position, Parnell will be Goodyear's primary contact with OE manufacturers in the automotive industry.
He started with Goodyear in 1981.
