Dobbs Tire & Auto Centers Inc. has hired Steve Cain as sales manager, tire products, for its 38-store organization.
In his new position, Cain will implement strategies to maximize tire sales potential in all tire classifications, the company reports.
Previous to joining Dobbs, Cain worked for 20 years with Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co.
"We're thrilled to have Steve on board," said David Dobbs, president and chief operating officer. "Our entire organization will definitely benefit from his extensive experience in the tire retail, wholesale, and commercial arenas."
Headquartered in suburban High Ridge, Mo., Dobbs Tire & Auto Centers Inc. is the 30th largest independent tire store chain in North America, according to Modern Tire Dealer magazine.
The business was founded in 1976 with a single store location. Today Dobbs Tire & Auto Centers Inc. employs nearly 600 associates at its 38 stores located in St. Louis, St. Charles and Jefferson counties in Missouri, and Madison and St. Clair counties in Illinois.
