O.K. Tire holds annual dealer conference

April 7, 2004

O.K. Tire Stores Inc. has launched a new promotional contest, "Wheels of Deals," across Canada.

The event, supported by television, radio and print advertising, offers customers a chance to win a trip to St. Maarten, tires and travel mugs.

At its recent dealer conference in Honolulu, Hawaii, O.K. Tire unveiled Wheels of Deals as part of its 2004 advertising strategy, which will continue the company's current "We've Got Local Attitude" theme.

Langley, British Columbia-based O.K. Tires also elected three new board members: Mark Frankland of Campbell River, B.C., Tim Togeretz of Kitchener, Ontario, and Colin Fraser of Prince Albert, Saskatchewan.

Fraser's board position was added to provide representation for O.K. Tire's rapidly expanding dealer base in the Saskatchewan/Manitoba market.

Also at the meeting, the company handed out its "Store of the Year" awards. The National Store of the Year award was presented to Aline and Denis Albert from O.K. Centre du Pneu (Albert & Fils) in Chomedey Laval, Quebec.

The following dealers received regional Store of the Year awards:
