Hankook Tire America Corp.'s new Sport K104 ultra-high performance tire is the latest addition to the company's Ventus line.
"The performance market is hot, and our Ventus line, we feel, appeals to both the performance-minded as well as the tuner market," says Y.M. Park, marketing manager for Hankook Tire.
The Y-rated Sport K104 radial was developed with racing technology for application on sport imports and American-made automobiles, according to the company. It features a triple-radius profile design, and is manufactured with silica compounds.
It is available in 17-, 18-, 19- and 20-inch sizes with a UTQG of 280/AA/A.
The introduction is backed by a new, broad-based marketing program, featuring a stylized anime (cartoon) figure and the tag line, "Performance You Can Feel!"
