Cooper Tire & Rubber Co.'s new Zeon ZPT is aimed "at specialty equipment consumers who purchase sporty tires and other aftermarket performance equipment to enhance their vehicles," according to the company.
The high performance tuner tire mirrors the performance-driven technology of the recently launched Cooper Zeon 2XS. It features an aggressive, directional tread design and a tapered tread profile engineered for handling, grip and even wear.
"The tuner market is rapidly becoming the most influential automotive enthusiast group in the performance tire market," said Carl Casalbore, vice president of retail sales and high performance tire development. "The Zeon ZPT is ideal for the auto enthusiast tuner who is passionate about putting the most innovative shoes on their car."
The H-rated performance radial is M&S rated. It is available in 17 sizes, ranging from 15 to 18 inches. Many are original equipment sizes.
