Bridgestone Corp. is hiking its prices in Asia, Oceania, the Middle East, Russia and Africa by around 5%.
Lines affected include Bridgestone and Firestone brand radial and bias tires for passenger cars, light trucks, trucks and buses and will vary "by product and by market," according to Bridgestone officials.
Earlier this month, Bridgestone subsidiary Bridgestone/Firestone North American Tire LLC raised prices on its consumer, truck, bus, farm and OTR tires by up to 5%.
