Detroit Auto Show: Concept vehicles sport Bridgestone run-flats

Three cars at the Detroit Auto Show are shod with Bridgestone concept run-flat tires.

They include:

* the Subaru B9SC, equipped with with size 225/55R19 RFT fun-flats;

* the Acura HSC, which sports Bridgestone Potenza run-flats in size 295/30ZR20 for the rear and 215/35ZR19 for the front;

* and the Honda IMAS, which is outfitted with size 175/55R17 run-flats.

"These concept tires demonstrate our commitment to continue" the development of run-flat technology, according to Bridgestone/Firestone North American Tire LLC officials.
