The Bridgestone Firestone Trust Fund donated more than $3 million to nearly 700 charities throughout the country in 2005.
As part of that, the fund has given more than $800,000 to charitable organizations in the middle part of Tennessee this year.
Groups that have received aid include the Red Cross, Ronald McDonald House, Habitat for Humanity and others.
