Cooper Tire & Rubber Co. is expanding its Cooper Zeon 2XS, Zeon XST, Discoverer ATR and Discoverer STT tire lines.
New sizes for the ultra-high performance Cooper Zeon 2XS line include the 215/35R19, which is now available in a Y speed rating for sport compacts like the Honda Civic; size 235/35R19 is now available in a Y speed rating for European sedans like the BMW 3 series; and size 275/30R20 is now offered in a W speed rating for plus sizing for mid to large sedans.
The Cooper Zeon XST performance tire's new size offers owners of today's sport "tuned" trucks and SUVs optimum performance and value, the company says. The new 265/35R22 V-rated size is being offered for owners of the Escalade, Yukon, Expedition, Durango, Avalanche or the Chrysler 300C.
Cooper's Discoverer ATR is now available in 30 sizes (from 14 to 20 inches) with outline white letters for today's SUVs. It also is offered in 23 light truck sizes (15 to 17 inch), offering drivers a blend of all-terrain performance.
Off-road enthusiasts can now pick from a complete lineup of 26 sizes in the recently released Cooper Discoverer STT family of tires. Sizes now range from 15 to 18 inches, which includes nine of the most popular high flotation sizes. This super traction tread (STT) tire was developed for pickup truck and sport utility vehicle drivers for off-road traction and offers a rugged look.
