Ford Motor Co. has named Pirelli and Hankook strategic suppliers via the vehicle manufacturer's Aligned Business Framework agreement.
Pirelli and Hankook join 12 other suppliers Ford has added since September "who have the capability to provide technological innovations and show a commitment to quality, costs and delivery performance," according to Ford officials.
Pirelli supplies 7% of Ford's domestic original equipment vehicles, according to Modern Tire Dealer research, while Hankook supplies 4% of Ford's domestic OE vehicles.
