The 37x12.50R15 LT Wrangler MT/R will fit 15-inch rims and is the size off-road enthusiasts request the most, according to Goodyear officials.
"Not long ago, the 31x10.50R15 LT and 33x12.50R15 LT tires were considered large," says Mark Cherveny, Goodyear's product manager for light truck tires. "Now the 35- and 37-inch tires are in demand."
The tire will be made at Goodyear's OTR tire manufacturing plant in Topeka, Kan.
The Wrangler MT/R is currently available in 20 15-, 16- and 17-inch sizes.
